Who We Are
Delco Helping Hands exists to bridge the gap for members of our community, especially in this difficult economy. We operate a community pantry on Saturday evenings where we connect families with necessities for life - everything from baby formula and diapers to shampoo and soap to pet food and cat litter.
It is also really important to us to build a village to help support each other. Having people to celebrate the biggest wins and help you through the lowest lows will forever be a huge part of who we are.
Our organization is 100% volunteer run. We are a group of moms (to both babies and pets) who work together as a team to support our community. Delco Helping Hands is a passion of ours.
We accept donations at our pantry every Saturday evening, and we are so incredibly grateful to our community for helping keep the shelves at our pantry stocked!
In addition to running our pantry, we enjoy hosting community events like Easter egg hunts, trunk or treat, a family fun day, bingo, and breakfast with the Grinch.
Each year, we also host a Christmas Giveback event where we are able to provide Christmas gifts to children of families in need in Delaware County.
We post about everything we are doing on our Facebook page, Delco Helping Hands. This is the best way to stay up to date with what we are doing!
We are always looking for volunteers who are looking to get involved in their community! We can find the perfect spot for anyone who wishes to volunteer.

“I Want to speak on how much of an impact Delco Helping Hands has had on me and my sons life. When I first joined the page I had JUST left a very abusive relationship. I ran away with basically NOTHING... I made apost on (the page) about needing clothes and such... 10 minuntes I had OVER 50 people offering me clothes for both of us. It was such a blessing to be able to get back on my feet in such short time. When they say ut take a village to raise a child I 1000% believe that now... This is my village and they are the most INCREDIBLE people you could have behind you! Ive learned so much and have even made quite a few mom friends from this village! Continue to make a difference DHH!”
